Cheryl Grimbleby

Cheryl has a long history of training dancers in many styles both at the recreational level and competitively. Cheryl is known for her incredible musicality and beautifully intricate choreography. She continues to help her students achieve great successes, including overall titles, group awards, as well as numerous choreography achievements. Cheryl has studied the disciplines of jazz, acro, lyrical, ballet, hip hop and tap. She has successfully competed throughout Canada and the United States, winning numerous awards, scholarships and titles including Senior Miss Global Dance International, Best Technical Execution and Top Soloist.


Cheryl has her qualifications with Dance Masters of America (Chapter 38) and is an Associate
Member of the British Association of Teachers of Dancing (B.A.T.D).

 

Over the years, Cheryl attended many workshops and dance conventions including The Dance Awards and Jump, as well as Teacher's Dance Summit in New York, and The Dance Teacher Expo in Toronto. Cheryl loves furthering her knowledge and passion for teaching dance, she is constantly improving her teaching techniques by taking teaching workshop and certification courses. She has trained with many of the industry leaders in acro technique, including Acrobatique and Acrobatic Arts and Acro Alliance.


Cheryl is thrilled to be a part of the Clarke Dance Production team to help take the dancers
training, artistry and style to the next level!
